- TQI
- Test Quality Information — DVSA data comparing station/tester testing patterns against national averages.
- QC
- Quality Control — structured checks on MOT testing work.
- MTS
- MOT Testing Service — the DVSA system where official MOT tests are recorded.
- CT
- Contingency Test — a test recorded when MTS is unavailable, entered later.
- AEC
- Authorised Examiner status code in MTS.
